Military Aircraft

An F-16 Fighting Falcon (leading), P-51D Mustang (bottom), F-86 Sabre (top), and F-22 Raptor.

The fly consists of a group of airplanes representing four different generations of American military aircraft.

Airplanes created or employed specifically for military purposes or to assist in military activities.

military aircraft is any fixed-wing or rotary-wing aircraft operated by a lawful or rebellious party military of any type. There are two types of military aircraft: combat and non-combat.

  • Combat aircraft , such as fighters and bombers explosive power in order to eliminate enemy targets, either by damaging or killing them. Typically, military forces are responsible for the development and acquisition of combat aircraft.
  • Non-combat aircraft , such as cargo transports and tankers. Their main purpose is not combat, but they may have weapons for self-protection. These entities primarily serve support functions and can be created by either military or non-military groups.

What block of F16 is the equivalent of the MiG 35?

Lockheed Martin F-16E/F Block-60/62 is considered as an equivalent to MiG-35 Fulcrum-F.

Mikoyan MiG-35 Fulcrum-F

Both MiG-35 and F-16 Block-60 incorporate advanced technologies and outperform fourth generation fighter jets. Both the platforms are fitted with electronically scanned array radars.

But the difference is that F-16 Block-60 carries AN/APG-80 AESA radar and MiG-35 carries Zhuk-ME PESA radar.

Both aircraft feature advanced avionics, counter measures, electronic warfare equipments, Infrared search and track (IRST) systems and helmet mounted cueing systems (HMCS).

However, MiG-35 was intended to serve as an advanced variant of MiG-29 Fulcrum-F in the Russian Aerospace Forces and to be exported to allied nations. The F-16E/F Block-60 was specifically designed as an advanced F-16 variant for United Arab Emirates Air Force (UAEAF).
