Military Aircraft

 An F-16 Fighting Falcon (leading), P-51D Mustang (bottom), F-86 Sabre (top), and F-22 Raptor. 

The fly consists of a group of airplanes representing four different generations of American military aircraft.


Airplanes created or employed specifically for military purposes or to assist in military activities.


military aircraft is any fixed-wing or rotary-wing aircraft operated by a lawful or rebellious party military of any type. There are two types of military aircraft: combat and non-combat.

  • Combat aircraft , such as fighters and bombers explosive power in order to eliminate enemy targets, either by damaging or killing them. Typically, military forces are responsible for the development and acquisition of combat aircraft.
  • Non-combat aircraft , such as cargo transports and tankers. Their main purpose is not combat, but they may have weapons for self-protection. These entities primarily serve support functions and can be created by either military or non-military groups.
